Each year in April which is (Donate Life month) we join Kids Needing Kidneys organization for our annual Build-A-Bear day event. We invite children on dialysis and kids with organ transplants to a Build-A-Bear store to make a teddy bear for free.
The event was created by Laura Kowalczyk. She had a kidney transplant in 1995. She was inspired by a 6 year old little girl who she would see at the clinic. She was so inspired by Dyman's bravery, that she set into motion this opportunity to provide Dyman and other pediatric transplant and dialysis patients with a fun day to just be kids. 
Please help us make a difference in a child's life by making a donation to Build-A-Bear day. The cost per child is about $60. There are approximately 130 children. Our goal each year is $8,000. Please sponsor as many children as you wish. Your donations are tax-deductible. You will receive a receipt letter via email.
